Currently, there are approximately 900 households in the LCA territory, with about 600 of those households paying annual membership dues. The mission of the LCA is to serve as the voice of the community before local government and business organizations, as well as to provide information and services that will foster the development of supportive, friendly, and safe neighborhoods.

The area within the following limits shall constitute the territory of the Association: Starting at the intersection of the southern boundary of the Washington Science Center and Old Georgetown Road, south along Old Georgetown Road to Interstate Highway 270, northwest along I-270 to Old Farm Creek (near Tuckerman Lane), upstream along the creek to the northern boundary of Tilden Woods Park. east along the northern’ boundaries of the properties served by Ibsen Drive, Tall Tree Terrace and Danville Drive, south along the western boundary and east along the southern boundary of the Washington Science Center to the starting place at Old Georgetown Road.

The mission of the Association is to promote the general welfare of Luxmanor, Windermere and The Oaks by working with neighboring communities and county agencies on zoning, security, traffic control, and other public services. The community is a vibrant mix of original families and new generations. Grounded in the past while striving for the future, Luxmanor embraces family, sharing, and the environment.
